Government Renewal Fees
In addition to our service fee, Spain charges an official government renewal fee (the tasa). This varies by region but typically ranges from €50–150. These government fees are included in our Stage 2 service — you don't pay them separately. We handle the payment to the Spanish immigration office on your behalf.
Our Competitive Advantage
Many visa services charge per-document, require full upfront payment, or offer no refund protection. Our structure protects you:
- Stage 1 (€300): Covers initial preparation and document review.
- Stage 2 (€399): Only payable after your renewal is approved — not before submission.
- Free appeals: If your renewal is refused, we appeal at no additional cost.
- Flat-fee structure: No hidden costs, no per-document charges.
- Transparent timeline: Same fee regardless of how long processing takes.

Frequently Asked Questions About Renewal Pricing
How much does Spain NLV renewal cost?
Our managed renewal service costs €699 in total: €300 for Stage 1 (eligibility check, document preparation, and case manager assignment) and €399 for Stage 2 (consulate submission and post-approval guidance). Government renewal fees are separate and vary by region, typically €50–150. Family members receive discounted rates — contact us for details.
When do I pay for the renewal service?
Payment is split into two stages for your financial protection: Stage 1 (€300) is paid when you engage our service and we begin preparing your eligibility check and document checklist. Stage 2 (€399) is payable only after your visa is approved — not before submission, and not if the renewal is refused. This structure ensures you're only paying for successful progress.
What's included in Stage 1 (€300)?
Stage 1 includes: free eligibility check before you commit; personalised document checklist sent within 24 hours; all application forms prepared in Spanish by a qualified immigration specialist; apostille and translation guidance for documents requiring legalisation; student health insurance referral via our partner network; and a dedicated case manager assigned to your file for the entire renewal process.
What's included in Stage 2 (€399)?
Stage 2 includes: consulate submission and management of all consulate correspondence; 24/7 online client dashboard for document uploads, case manager messaging, and progress tracking; post-approval guidance including collecting your visa and understanding next steps; professional handling of all administrative interactions with Spanish immigration authorities; and government renewal fees (included).
What if my renewal is refused?
Our fee structure protects you: if your renewal is refused, you only pay Stage 1 (€300) — Stage 2 is not due. We also offer free appeal support at no additional cost if your renewal is rejected, so you have continued professional guidance throughout any appeal process. We're invested in your success.
Do family members pay the full fee?
No. Family members renewing with you receive a discounted rate. The exact discount depends on the number of family members and your specific situation. Contact our team with details of your family size and composition, and we will provide a customised quote for your household renewal.
What are the government fees for renewal?
Government renewal fees (the official tasa) vary by region but typically range from €50–150. These are separate from our service fee. All associated government renewal fees are included in our Stage 2 service — you don't pay them directly to the immigration office. We handle the payment on your behalf.
Is the renewal service fee the same for first and second renewal?
Yes. Whether you are renewing for the first time (2 years into your initial NLV) or the second time (4 years in), the service fee remains €300 (Stage 1) + €399 (Stage 2). The renewal process and documentation requirements are the same regardless of which renewal cycle you are in, so the service cost is consistent.
What if the renewal takes longer than expected?
There are no additional fees if your renewal processing takes longer than standard. Our flat-fee structure covers the entire renewal period, whether the Oficina de Extranjería processes your application in 4 weeks or 12 weeks. We continue to provide case manager support and dashboard access throughout the waiting period at no extra cost. Your permit is automatically extended by law while processing.
Can I get a refund if I withdraw?
If you withdraw after engaging Stage 1 services, Stage 1 fees (€300) are non-refundable as we have completed eligibility checks, document preparation, and case manager assignment. If you withdraw before Stage 2 (submission), Stage 2 fees are not due. If you have concerns about the process at any stage, contact your case manager immediately — most concerns can be resolved with adjustments to your application or timeline.
How does your pricing compare to other visa services?
Our renewal pricing (€699 total, paid in two stages) is transparent and includes comprehensive professional support: specialist document preparation, apostille guidance, appointment booking and attendance on your behalf, consulate management, 24/7 dashboard access, post-approval support, and free appeals if needed. Many competitors charge per-document fees or require upfront full payment. Compare not just the price, but what's included and how you're protected.
Can I start renewal if I'm currently applying for the initial NLV?
If you're not yet approved for your initial NLV and are interested in future renewal support, we recommend starting with your initial visa application first. Once your initial NLV is approved, you can contact us directly to begin renewal planning. We're here to support you from your first day in Spain through every renewal cycle.
